Learning to use BusTracks is easy.
The BusTracks program offers an easy-to-use option for busy transportation officials. Experienced staff members provide a variety of learning experiences through on-site training (2 days are included as part of the package); as well as unlimited use of the Company’s remote Track Assistance program.
This remote service offers the capability of using advanced technology to assist users with hands-on training in the comfort of their own office, while working with experienced AMS staff members at their main office in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Additional training opportunities include a monthly newsletter (called Tips & Tools) that focuses on subjects relevant to the transportation industry and the handy functions within BusTracks that can assist in daily transportation management.
Annual Users’ Meetings are conducted at multiple sites across the Commonwealth to accommodate individual schedules and reduce travel time for system users. These meetings are used to introduce new features and to allow users the ability to talk directly with those involved in program development. Meanwhile, program developers meet and learn from BusTracks users. Ideas from these meetings are often used in future product development.
Since BusTracks is designed specifically for Pennsylvania school districts, it offers unique tools that provide accurate and efficient daily operations, while incorporating proprietary functions designed to facilitate timely PDE reporting to help Commonwealth districts to maximize transportation reimbursement.
